Welcome to Opulence Violence Prevention Specialist & Security (OVPSS) - Violence Prevention Unit

Our Violence Prevention Unit (VPU) is committed to creating safe and thriving communities in the heart of Chicago. By addressing violence at its roots, we aim to support teens, families, and schools, fostering peace and growth through holistic and proactive measures.

Making a Difference on Chicago’s Streets

Chicago faces unique challenges when it comes to street violence, and our VPU is at the forefront of addressing these issues.

Our trained specialists engage directly with individuals in high-risk neighborhoods to mediate conflicts before they escalate. By building trust and providing resources, we work to break the cycle of violence.

Street Outreach Programs:

Hosting block events, workshops, and safe space discussions brings communities together, promoting unity and fostering mutual respect.

Community Engagement:

We partner with local police to provide alternatives to incarceration for young individuals, focusing on rehabilitation and second chances.
